My blogging goal is to drive home my ideas about “Multiple streams of Frugality” which are all inclusive of but not limited to Savvy Personal Finance; Time-Saving Abilities; Responsible Couponing; and a Healthy Lifestyle.
My philosophy is that you have to have more than one avenue leading to saving a dollar. Think of it as “Multiple Streams of Frugality”. Haven’t you heard of “multiple streams of income”? Same difference. lets face it, your lifestyle will determine your bottom line every time. That said you will find me posting about everything from that wonderful oil that makes 50 the new 40; the recipe for that $10 cocktail you can make yourself for $2; 50 ways to use a dryer sheet; and anything else that’s helpful and leaves you better off then when you first got to Frantastically Frugal.
Over the past year I have been chipping away and sharing information that excites me. In an effort to keep myself organized, I will continue to post about couponing, personal finance, time savers and lifestyle sorts of things that I hope will give you a few Ah-Ha Moments as outlined below. In fact, I’m working on a way to share more of my experiences with you on a different level and platform in addition to keeping you frugal. Stay tuned for more information. For now let’s explore……
Multiple Streams of Frugality According to Me
Savvy Personal Finance
How you work your finances is critical. You have to think like a millionaire if you want to be one and if so you have know what their habits are. This is why I read Thomas J. Stanley‘s book titled “The Millionaire Next Door” cover-to-cover where I learned about multiple streams of income. To get there, you must get your personal finances in order. Here are three places to start:
- Subscribe to Thomas J. Stanley’s blog

Time Saving Abilities
Time saving short cuts are just as important to me as saving money. My time is valuable and I could always use more of it. That’s why I love recipes that have very few ingredients, easy to prepare and quick to put together. Check out a recipe for the The Ultimate Salmon BLT compliments of Publix Apron Recipes. Of course all of their recipes boasts quick and easy.
Responsible Couponing
If you have been keeping up with me, you know that I did a series on couponing. I don’t spend a lot of time creating fancy coupon organizers or clipping every coupon every week. That’s way too exhausting and time consuming. All that is required is that you purchase a few newspapers each week, file the coupon inserts, go to couponmom.com, make your grocery list and clip only those coupons that you need for your shopping trip that day. To learn more, check out my series on “Couponing in the Fast Lane”.

Form a Healthy Lifestyle
Without your health you couldn’t possibly concentrate on saving a dime. I workout 5-6 days a week trying my hardest to stay ahead of the aging process; therefore, when it’s time to put forth the effort to utilize my shopping strategies, I’ll be in shape to do so.
Finally, the long and short of it all is that you have to believe that multiple streams of frugality will lead to more disposable income that will allow for those little things we enjoy and some gas to get there. I enjoy all things that balances a healthy frugal lifestyle and you should too.
I would love to hear what your frugal strategies are. I am always open to new and different ideas.
